California PBIS Gold Recognition: We are thrilled to share that Owensmouth Continuation High School has officially been recognized with the Gold Level PBIS Implementation Award by the state! This award celebrates our dedication to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment where every student can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Attendance Challenge (Aug 24 – Sept 8): We are launching our Attendance Challenge! Students who attend school every day from August 24 through September 8 will earn a sweet treat: popsicles with Tajín! Please help your students arrive on time every day. School starts promptly at 8:30 AM, and free breakfast is available beginning at 8:00 AM.

i-Ready Diagnostic Testing: i-Ready Diagnostic testing begins this Tuesday. Results from these assessments are critical, as student performance determines who will need additional academic intervention and support. Please encourage your child to rest well and try their best.

Safety Drills: To ensure a safe learning environment, we will continue our routine campus safety procedures this week by conducting both an earthquake drill and a lockdown drill.
